Kolby’s interest in the stage goes back to his early childhood both in the fields of acting and music. He landed a lead role in the independent feature film 3te Chronik in Germany.
After high school and a year in the Austrian military he moved to New York to study acting. He graduated from the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and has since worked on numerous productions, among them the award winning short films Forever Changed and Modieval, as well as the independent feature film Digital Physics.
In March 2014 Kolby made the transition from NYC to Los Angeles. He portrayed Joric, one of the lead characters in the web series Skyrim: The Shadow Cult and the title role in A Boy Called Boris, which was shown and praised at film festivals NYC.
Kolby has been playing the drums for over 10 years and was a member of several bands. One of his other passions is Wing Tsun, a Chinese Martial Arts form.
